Our philosophy is to strive to be leaders in our industry providing palliative hospice care delivered with compassion, dignity and respect.  Palliative hospice care is care of patients whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment.  Pain control and other physical symptoms, as well as safety, psychological, social and spiritual needs are constantly monitored by Blue Sky Hospice staff.

The goal of our care is to achieve maximum quality of life for patients and those important to them.

We believe that palliative hospice care is part of the process of life and regard dying as a normal part of life.  We will neither hasten death nor prolong life.  Our team will integrate the psychological and spiritual aspect of care, offering support to families to help them cope during the patient’s illness as well as the family/friends bereavement.

  Child Life is a professional discipline at a Master’s level that provides counseling and therapies (play, music and art) to pediatric hospice patients and family and children of adult hospice patients.
